Our Bread
At The Bread Stop Bakery, we make bread the old-fashioned way: simple ingredients, small batches, and patience. This means our products have a homemade quality that people love. Our sandwhich loaves, sourdough breads, baguettes, burger buns, dinner rolls, cookies, granola, pretzels and pizza dough are hand crafted with care and tastes delicious.
We are a local Eugene bakery. We source our whole wheat flour and honey from local suppliers. We use all natural ingredients in everything we make.
Our Story
40 years ago, Bread Stop Bakery began as a pizzeria and café, on Willamette Street in Eugene. The food was delicious and demand quickly grew for Bread Stop breads. A production facility in West Eugene was opened to help keep up with supply and demand. Bread Stop became a wholesale bakery and started to deliver their breads throughout the Eugene community. Over the years, production and distribution continued to grow. Bread Stop’s distribution spanned from Portland to Ashland, and Oakridge to the Coast.
Today, the bakery turns its focus closer to home again, in our communities within 100 miles of Eugene. Our wholesale accounts range from food carts, pubs, restaurants and university dining halls. Our bread is found in the grocery isles of natural foods markets. Bread Stop is proud to be the largest and oldest family-run wholesale bread bakery in Eugene, and grateful to be a part of this community.
