About Our Bread

At The Bread Stop Bakery, we make bread the old-fashioned way: simple ingredients, small batches, patience and care. That means all of our products have the same homemade quality that customers love. Whether it’s one of our many breads, buns, rolls, cookies, granola, pizza dough, or one of the other 100+ items we offer, it will be crafted with care and taste delicious.

As a local business, we source our whole wheat flour and sweeteners locally to help support our community and make sure that all of our products taste incredible. Many of our ingredients are natural or organic, and we make sure they are the highest quality before baking with them.

Our Story

More than 30 years ago, The Bread Stop Bakery opened as a pizzeria and café in Eugene. Because of our delicious food, demand quickly grew for more Bread Stop products, and we opened a production facility to help us supply the Eugene community with our delicious breads as a wholesale bakery. Over the years, our production and distribution continued to grow as more and more people became Bread Stop fans. Our products could be found across Oregon, from Portland to Ashland and everywhere in between.

Today, we have refocused our business to provide the highest quality products to Eugene and the surrounding areas. We service almost 70 different wholesale accounts from food carts to restaurants to university dining halls. Community is one of our most important values, and we are proud to be the largest and oldest family-run wholesale bread bakery in Eugene.
